Coming from Lezoux or Courpière (Road D223), after having passed through a forest (2,5 km), park your car in the private car park next to the castle and you will discover an incredible view of the Limagne plain and the Puys mountain range.
A little road climbs from Ravel-Village to the castle, but it is too narrow for buses or caravans.

A guide will meet you beneath the arches.

The tour starts by the grounds, the courtyard of honour, the stables and the “State room”, with one of the first heraldic frescos in France, where the King Philippe le Bel and his chancellor Pierre Flote comment the main events of their time.

Inside the castle, you will visit thirteen rooms, exclusively furbished with period furniture.
